Thursday, April 11 - Sayoko arrives!

Sayoko arrives!!  7 years ago we were classmates at Perugia's University for Foreigners and continue to correspond.  She now lives in Perugia and joined us for a week of sightseeing, shopping and cooking.

We must tell all you readers, that Sayoko only speaks Japanese and Italian.  So, it was Italian day and night for a week. 

 

Normally, Tony and I give our minds a break and speak English at night, but living with Sayoko made us feel truly Italian and we felt guilty speaking English after she left.  So, we started conversing in Italian rather than English.  Grazie Sayoko!!
